The Petrifying Fountains of Saint-Nectaire are sure to surprise you!
The tour begins by recounting the origins of the petrifying springs, before taking you underground to the cave and its 52° hot springs.
Next stop: the manufacturing workshops, where you'll learn about the craft of petrification through the production of limestone objects.
This ancestral skill, handed down from father to son, has been practised at the Petrifying Fountains since 1821.
You'll also have the chance to admire the incredible 14-metre-high Petrifying Fountain.
The last stop is the shop, where you'll find a wide range of limestone creations. It's a great opportunity to pick up a souvenir!
Allow around 55 minutes for the visit.
